WHY IS THIS DIFFERENT THAN OTHER PORTRAIT SESSIONS?
This is all about empowerment. Forget Glamour Shots and those awkward poses. Our studio offers luxe, personalized sessions complete with all the model glam. Amy will capture you in editorial portraits that you’ll love and will guide you with easy-to-follow mirrored posing to achieve natural looks (no fake smiles here). You’ll have incredible stylists at your side throughout the entire shoot, and you’ll even have access to our studio wardrobe to help complete your looks.  It’s a VIP day of fun, your favorite beverage and celebrating YOU.

  WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Before you book, you’ll receive a complimentary consultation with Amy during which we’ll begin to plan your wardrobe. We’ll go through what to wear, what will help you look stunning on camera, even where to shop for those scroll stopping pieces. In addition to what you’ll bring, we have a collection of gowns, bodysuits and accessories Amy's curated over the years and they are all available to you during your session!

WHAT IF I’M NOT PHOTOGENIC?
Just you wait... it’s not your job to be photogenic. It’s our job to know the angles, the lighting, the lenses, and the poses to best showcase every beautiful thing about you. You come and relax. It’s our job to do the rest.

WILL YOU PHOTOSHOP OR RETOUCH MY IMAGES?
Absolutely, each of your beautiful portraits will be given Amy's Signature Retouch. This high end retouching is a luxury art form that adds the same polish to your portraits that you’d see on the pages of a magazine. We retouch gently to preserve a natural look while enhancing your beauty in remarkable ways. At your Reveal, you will see un-retouched images, but looking through Amy’s previous work will show you a glimpse of the magic Amy will work with your portraits while editing.

WHAT IF I ONLY WANT DIGITALS?
Digitals and prints are the same price. Each image you purchase comes with its corresponding digital file. After Amy finishes retouching your portraits, you will receive a private website invitation to download your digitals, your printed products will follow shortly after.

HOW DO YOU DESIGN THE FOUR LOOKS?
I work from the wardrobe up. Each outfit inspires the hair & makeup, the background & lighting, even the color temperature of my light. If there are any images from my website/instagram you resonate with, we’d love to know ahead of time to get a sense of your unique taste. My style is editorial, timeless and romantic and we will imbue that into each of your portraits, while making sure your gorgeous personality shines through.

HOW MUCH DO MOST CLIENTS SPEND?
Our session fee is $375. Every client has different product needs, ranging from art books and portfolio collections to wall art, but most clients spend between $2-7K. What you choose to spend is entirely up to you! You don’t have to make any choices until your reveal session when we will go through your images together.

 

WHAT KIND OF PRODUCTS DOES THE STUDIO OFFER?
After your session, we’ll present your final images to you in a private reveal & sales session. There, you’ll have the opportunity to choose your favorite shots and select which portraits will be purchased & retouched. Ways to treasure your images include products such as Folio Collections, Printed Albums and Gallery Wall Art.

WHAT TYPE OF “ART” OR FRAMES SHOULD I CONSIDER FOR MY HOME?

One special touch that Amy brings to your portrait experience is her interior design expertise. Amy has been the lead production designer for Ashley Furniture & many other national brands throughout her production career.

Amy is able to guide you with confidence on what size portraits as well as color choices will work best within your home.
